Can I still get MR (Patches) for 4.6

Hi Folks,

Do you know if I can still get hold of the patches (I think they call them MR Maintanance release) for Notes 4.6.

We still have some client pcs on version 4.6 and I would like to upgrade them to the lateset version of R4.

I've looked around and can't find them in the obvious places, does IBM/Lotus have an archive site or something.

Thanks in advance,

Joe.

Try this site:

http://athena.uwindsor.ca/units/its/website/itshd_downloads.nsf/Downloads/4D44449F57A7074C852568D9006415E7?OpenDocument

Since this is not from IBM/LOTUS, I would test the incremental installer on a real disconnected test box and then run virus and trojan checkers before and after installation.

But for the best results, I would make a call to Lotus to see if you can get a CD of the lastest R4 client.  They may decided that having the incrementals online that far back wasn't necessary.

Remember that Notes R4.6.7a will not function properly on Windows 3.1x (!!!), 2000, ME, or XP.  The Windows 3.1x nonfunctionality usually makes upgrading those clients to R4.6.7a a no-go.

Good Luck,

Unfortunately, 4.6.x has reached its official "End of support" (formerly called end of life).

Anything 4.6.7 or higher should be very stable though.

Hi Rob,

Thanks for that.. I couldn't seem to find it anywhere.
I may try Lotus but for the mean time upgrading to 4.6.7a is great.

Thanks again... Joe.

ps Thanks Andrew for the info, hopefully they will be moving to R5 soon, or even R6
