Weed, explain this to me please.

I only did this because I have time and patience for the time being. I truly believe that Norton Disk Doctor and Speed Disk are big screw ups! Wether they are installed on my drive or not. So what I did was completely formatted both of my MACS and reinstalled the OS again. Everything ran fine but when I ran Disk Doctor on both of them....both of them started to screw up! Both with the SAAAAAAMMMMMEEEE problems! So again I formatted and started over again. This time I ran Speed Disk. Guess what? More screw ups! Yes! On both of them and with similar problems! I even ran Speed Disk on my iPOD using the iPOD profile. Guess what happenend????  BIG SCREW UPS!! iPOD didn't want to start of shut off and there were times that it would shut off by itself! Or sometimes the volume didn't want to work. I'm not starting a arguement here. I'm just curious as to how you say it works for you but its obvious that ran the SAME tests over and over again on clean machines and NORTON keeps doing the same screw ups.

I use Norton on ALL my machines. No problems. What sort of problems are you having?

Computer doesn't sleep or it doesn't wake up when sleeping. Having to force quit many programs because they don't work. Computer crashes sometimes. And for the iPOD...well that was already addressed in the post.
Dunno. I've got the same OS version and run Norton regularly. No sleep issues, wakes up every time, havent had an app crash in weeks.
You have 10.2.4? And you have System Works 2.0?
Yep.
damn! Then what the hell do you think is going on? Could be because I have iMACS and you have a powermac?

Yes I did that already. No Norton will touch my computer ever again. Thanks Weed!
