Windows NT Domain Policy - Screen Saver Options

I have a WinNT 4.0 Domain and I need to limit the access to the screen saver applet. I have created the policy via poledit.exe and that works just fine.

I set the password and timeout values, and that works fine.  What I need to know is, how do I keep users from changing those values? I can hide the SS tab, but one of my requirements is that users can choose their own screen saver. I haven't found anything so far that allows me to restrict access to specific elements of the page.

Can anyone help?

There is no way to restrict specific elements of these pages. If you want them to be able to pick their own screen savers, there's not much you can do, except hoping that one day they will just get tired of changing and changing again the password and timeout settings each time they log on.
The only thing that might be doable is to set the screen saver to something like standard.scr in the system policy and disable access to the screen saver tab, but allow them to copy "their" screen saver file over standard.scr; but then you're still gonna have the problem that they won't be able to change the properties of the screen saver.
On the other hand, if you really need to have password security and a standard timeout, then I don't see much of a need for the users to be able to change the screen saver anyway. Just give them Marquee with the name of your company as scrolling text and be done with it. ;)
