Sending image files from client to server??

Hi there,
I have to put a small site live and one of the requirements is to be able to send images via the web to the webservers image directory from a client side application or web page i.e. the client selects a file and the application sends it to a predetermined directory on the webserver automatically. I have used FTP to do this manually in the past but unfortunaley this is not an option. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Any help would be great

Here is the sample HTML code you can use to allow the user select a file from their local hard disk


Once they have submitted the file you need a script on the server side to accept it and save the file to the appropiate directory.
