Is there a way to set "comment indicator" (.DisplayNoteIndicator = True) for 1 worksheet & "comment & indicator" ( ? ) for another worksheet?

What programming language are you talking about?

I know a DisplayNoteIndicator property in Excel's VBA but that's an application property so the answer would be NO. The best thing you can do, I think is use the Activate and Deactivate events of the worksheet to set the property's value to whatever you want.

But again I ask you: what programming language are we talking about?

This is what I got when I recorded a macro in Excel with me setting all the options available:

    Application.DisplayCommentIndicator = xlCommentIndicatorOnly
    Application.DisplayCommentIndicator = xlNoIndicator
    Application.DisplayCommentIndicator = xlCommentAndIndicator

These three are probably constants defined in the VBA library for Excel.

Macro recording can be very helpfull if you want to find out out to do something in VBA that you already know how to do in Excel.

Hope this helps

Paulo

By the way: if this is an Excel question it was probably better of at the Microsoft Office TA: http://www.experts-exchange.com/Applications/MS_Office/
