Windows xp microsoft ics problem

I have been trying for a couple days with no success i have just install windows xp pro and have adsl connection via network card and have install ics...The other machine had windows xp, but now has windows 2000 both are doing the same thing... When i goto view a page in IE it comes up web site found...waiting for reply i can ping any site both machine and it works, i can tracer the site using tracert it works fine..... I can only the isp homepage and the microsoft network on the client... Any help would be appriecated

Check ur DNS servers

At the command prompt, type in nslookup
U should get sth like this

Default Server: <ur ISP's DNS server name>
Address:    <its IP address>

If u see anything like *** request time out ** then ur ISP's DNS servers had a problem at the time which should be rectified soon by them.

Also, type ipconfig /flushdns at your command prompt and try again
