How can i make a shortcut at the desktop with InstallShield for VC++!!!!

i want for my program to make a shortcut in the desktop
and to make a gruoup in the start menu

I winclude this code to the script of the installshield
but it does not work well.

  CreateProgramFolder ( "Sakis" );
  AddFolderIcon ( FOLDER_PROGRAMS , "Sakis" , "C:\\Program Files\\Sakis\\Sakis.EXE" , "" ,

I need a answer quickly....

The key API for making and managing desktop shortcuts is the IShellLink COM interface exported by the Windows SHELL.

instead of writing code in the install shield,u can achieve this in install shield wizard.
When start to make a project in install shield it'll ask u to create a shortcut on desktop & also putting the items in start menu.It's a user interactive method in install shield.

it very simple..

from the folder of the installshiled just make a shortcut.. but be carefull you must put the right folder TARGET DIR

you can also make a folder in the program group....
