Opening an HTML file

I would like to create a popup HTML file from with flash mx. I can open an HTML file using getURL, but I need to be able to specify the height width etc like you can with javascript - I have seen this done in many sites but not sure how, any ideas?

Thanks for your help.

hi charlie2000,

in the html where u have the movie, do a function for the popup window like the dreamweaver function ...

<script language="JavaScript" type="text/JavaScript">
<!--
function MM_openBrWindow(theURL,winName,features) { //v2.0
 window.open(theURL,winName,features);
}
//-->
</script>

//in ur flash

getURL("javascript:MM_openBrWindow('yourPopup.html','windowName','toolbar=yes,location=yes,status=yes,menubar=yes,scrollbars=yes,resizable=yes,width=100,height=100')","_blank");

change the
width=100,height=100 ... etc for the size u like
and other features on/off as u need

if u are not familiar with javascript it is easier to get dreamweaver to generate the call function and copy&paste to flash, but remember to put "javascript:" in front so getURL will call the function to do the pop for u

cheers
