When I submit any .asp pages the page hangs. When I refresh the pages I get
the following error:

The remote procedure call failed and did not execute.

Then in event viewer I have:

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: W3SVC
Event Category: None
Event ID: 37
Date:  2/22/2003
Time:  2:33:55 PM
User:  N/A
Computer: SERVER
Description:
Out of process application '/LM/W3SVC/1/ROOT' terminated unexpectedly.

I'm running Windows 2000 Pro - IIS5. Any ideas?? I've reinstalled SP3, uninstalled IIS and reinstalled but I
still get the error.

Thanks,

Tom Scott

Yea, I already seen that and unfortunately it does not help. To be able to apply that patch you have to have Service Pack 2 installed or it won't install. I tried uninstalling Service Pack 3 (even though that patch is supposed to be included in it) and then install Service Pack 2 but SP3 really never got uninstalled so I could not install SP2.

This is not the same version as you are running but might be worth trying:
