Using Apache to proxy OWA 2K

We are attempting to configure an Apache web proxy to access OWA.

We have proxied the virutal directories Exchange, Exchweb, and Public with both proxypass and reverseproxypass.

We are able to authenticat successfully, but the outlook page does not  completely show on the screen.  We get the frames and that is all.

We know it is not any type of firewalling issue because when we go directly in to the Exchange server it works fine.

Any help would be appreciated.

Jerry Keen,

You might want to take a look at this PAQ.

It looks promising.

cheers.

The answer was that the proxy server needed a host file entry pointing FDQN to the internal IP address of the exchange server.

I was trying to resolve the FDQN using the DNS server located on the outside of the network, therefore resolving the public IP and not the internal IP.

LordPenguin,

Great.  Please close the Q.

If you need a refund (since you found the solution to your problem), please drop a Q in Community Support.

cheers.
