That solved the bigger part of the problem. Missing menus is just annoying and I would like that fixed also, but am I happy to have those drives back.<br />

Under Windows 2000 pro:<br />
My CD-rom and DVD drives are not available. The device manager tells me &quot;Your registry might be corrupted. (Code 19). Uninstalling and rebooting them causes them to be reinstalled, however they still do not appear in &quot;My Computer.&quot; <br />

On top of that, after doing the suggested procedure from the device manager troubleshooter, (all) windows no longer have their file menu or toolbar.
