no access to CD-rom or DVD due to corrupt registry?
Under Windows 2000 pro:
My CD-rom and DVD drives are not available. The device manager tells me "Your registry might be corrupted. (Code 19). Uninstalling and rebooting them causes them to be reinstalled, however they still do not appear in "My Computer."
On top of that, after doing the suggested procedure from the device manager troubleshooter, (all) windows no longer have their file menu or toolbar.
