Hi,

I am trying to create a layer using a <div> tag at an absolute position in the page. Now, as the contents in the layer increases, the scroll bar, which is OK.

My question is, can I find out what is the position of scroll bar for this layer? And how can I set this scroll bar position to a certain level?

Thanks in advance,
Manish

To read the actual scroll bar position do this:
alert(document.all.yourDivId.scrollTop);

To set it to top upper position do this:
document.all.yourDivId.scrollTop=0;

Good luck,
