HI
I have aquired some old computers (Win98) but they have a network login. They do not let me hit escape to skip login, something to do with the Bios password?

Is there anyway I can remove the login procedure from the hard drive which at this point is in my other machine as a slave drive or if there's a way I can do it while booting from the drive?
It would much appreciated if someone can tell me how.

Even better, can I reinstall windows 98 onto the drive while its a slave drive? (the old computers only have floppys and I wouldn't now how to install the drivers for a cdrom without logging in, if I had one!)

Windows 98 usually lets you bypass the login screen. You must have a bios password on these computers.  To clear the bios password, follow the procedure in the link below:

After you reset the password, reboot and you should be able to get to the desktop.
