iFilter with Visual Basic

I am trying to get Visual Basic 6 to
read various iFilters in terms of the text
that is contained within a document.

One example of this is to use Adobe's iFilter
to index the text inside a PDF file.

If someone can give me a visual basic implementation
of this I will give them the maximum number of points
I can.

I am not interested in reading the text through
index server or sharepoint, I want to be able to access the iFilter directly with it's GetText method.

I believe you will need to take this to VB.Net.  I do not believe it can be done using VB6 or below.  See here for a discussion on it's use through .Net and search for iFilter:
