MSGSRV32.exe Not Responding
When I load drivers for new hardware my computer hangs.
Pressing Ctrl/Alt/Del brings up the message 'msgsrv32.exe not responding'.
This problem happened after I formatted the hard drive and re installed Win98 SE and all the hardware that I was using before.
The sound card is the one that gives me the most trouble because the drivers could not be detected from the Vibra 128 CD. I downloaded drivers from Creative Vibra and they worked fine but was still unable to use the "Add New Hardware" without the computer hanging.
Thankyou, ajmk.

Thanks for your help. The incorrect soundcard drivers were installed. I found and deleted them and now all works well.
