asked on

disable restoring mapped network drive connection on startup

I have a small network, of windows 2000 servers and workstations,..

My workstation runs some legacy application, which require mapped network drives for functioning.

Often, my machine has to be restarted,

I want to know is, how to disable restoring mapped drive connection on startup, as it stops my logon process.
I restore them using a batch file.

you could take the mapping out of your login script, and them only map them (manually or with a different script) before you use your legacy application.
i'm not sure how were you thinking of this working? when would you disable the script? always?
