Netware 6 - Slow copy command

We have a Netware6 server with SP3 installed.  When i am at a workstation and issue a standard copy command from a dos prompt to copy data from one mapped drive to another on the save server this is very very slow.  Previously we had Netware 5 and this was very fast.  NCOPY is much faster than the copy command but is does not prompt to overight files if they already exist (this is what we need to do).

Any suggestions ?

you could script it "...if not exist... ncopy..." etc...

use xcopy if available...

xxcopy works over the copy command and is much faster.
