I am building my own pc i need some help!

Is there any downloadble guide on the net, to tell me everything step by step to building a new computer, it will have a gogabyte 7va motherboard, amd athlon xp1700+, 128mb pc 266mhz ram, supposed to have pc3200, but told it will do, and a geforce 2 64mb mx 400 agp, still need to buy a case any help will be greatfully appreciated!

There are many guides out there. I would reccomend http://www.pcmech.com/byopc/index.htm as i think its one of the most comprehensive available.

there is a downloadable .pdf on chip installation available from AMD's website and the motherboard manual should tell you how to set up your board to have the correct settings for your RAM and your chip, if in doubt set it up as default, and you want your chip and RAM set to 133MHz if you have a jumper or DIP switch to maunally set up the clock speeds (266 comes from doubling the instructions per cycle)
I really, really liked http://www.mysuperpc.com when I built my first computer.  Speaks engilsh, a lot of pictures...
