CRecentFileList using an .ini file

I need to read/write a file list to a Windows .ini file using the CRecentFileList class.  I realize the registry is better but I'm maintaining an old (old old) app that uses .ini files for configuration.
Has anyone done this or can point me in the right direction (code snippets) ?
Thanks
Jim

In your CApp derived class, comment out the SetRegistryKey line:

//     SetRegistryKey(_T("Local AppWizard-Generated Applications"));

A call to this function instructs the app to use the registry instead of an .ini file for storing MRU settings.

The name of the .ini file is stored in the app variable m_pszProfileName.

See the CWinApp help file topic for more info.
