Hello, I am having an issue with the ITC.
My Transfer works fine on 2 machines.
Both are Windows 2000.
However, when clients use the form on a Windows98 SE, the application will freeze up.
The file will still transfer, however; its not a nice feature to just lock up like that.

It's very simple code:

Inet1.URL = "ftp://mysite.com"
Inet1.UserName = "crackhead"
Inet1.Password = "junior"
Inet1.Protocol = icFTP
Inet1.RemotePort = 21
Inet1.AccessType = icUseDefault
Inet1.RequestTimeout = 60
Inet1.Execute , "PUT " & Chr(34) & App.Path & "\testfile.txt" & Chr(34) & " /MyDir/testfile.txt"
Do While Inet1.StillExecuting
   DoEvents
Loop

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Try dropping the quotes on the source filename.

Inet1.Execute , "PUT " & App.Path & "\testfile.txt" & " /MyDir/testfile.txt"

Also, compare the versions of \windows\system32\MSInet.ocx

Seems like every service pack that came out for Win98 has improvements and fixes for MSInet.  I'm guessing that your Win2k version of MSInet.ocx is the newest version.

man i'm really bitter.  I know that i had to put the quotes in there or it didn't work.. but now it's ok to not have the quotes.

maybe it was command line required the quotes.. dont remember.

hmmm

thanks.. seems to work fine on both OS's now.
