there is no such a switch,
you have to do it yourself
like

procedure TForm1.Edit1KeyDown(Sender: TObject; var Key: Word;
 Shift: TShiftState);
begin
 if key in [VK_LEFT,VK_RIGHT] then //maybe morekeys
   //nothing
 else
   edit1.sellength := 1;
end;
