Cable Modem question

Hi all,

would appreciate help pls..

I have a Cable Modem.. (ofcourse I have connected to Cable Line)..

Now I have connected Cable Modem with my Laptop with RJ-45 (LAN CABLE).. and iw works fine..

But ofcourse since I have connected cable modem with LAN Cable, so I have to sit at one place to access the internet..

Is there any wireless device comes in market with which I can access my internet from anywhere in my home  using the same cable modem..

will appreciate help pls

Yes. What you are looking for is a Wireless Broadband Router/Access Point.

I suggest Netgear's FM114PNA:

You will also need wireless network adapters on each computer.

For the laptop, you'll probably want a PCMCIA card:

Bannerman is correct, what your looking for is an 802.11b or WiFi broadband router, you will also need a compatible network card for each machine
