PB 8.0.3 and Clearcase

We just upgraded our application to PB 8.0.3 and I am trying to register new objects through PB 8.0.3 from the library painter for Clearcase.  When I perform the Add to Source Control function on the object, I get the following error:  attribute type "PBL" not found in VOB "\vobname" and no global type definition can be found.  Now, I admit, I don't know whether this is a PB problem or clearcase but, we previously were on PB 6.0 with our application and it worked fine with Clearcase.  I am using the same vob but the 8.0.3 version is in a different folder than the 6.0 version.

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem?  Any help is greatly appreciated!

here is what i did to implement cc, just for u to get an idea.

1) make sure that the objects are in the vob path, if not export the objects manually and register it manually under cc, (his way its faster to implement)

2)put all the pbl's , pbg's, pbw's and other files needed to the application as a view private file inside the same path where the object sources reside.

3) configure pb using the source control tab in the application's workspace.

Note :
version library option in the advanced tab, is only for versioning the pbls,it may increase response time .or may be this is the cause of the error.
