Hi Everyone,

I need to set the session timeout and error page for my web application.

I have made following entries in web.xml.

 <session-config>
      <session-timeout>-1</session-timeout>
   </session-config>

   <error-page>
        <error-code>500</error-code>
     <location>/error.jsp</location>
   </error-page>

But error page doesn't work if I use error.jsp but it works if I use error.html.

Please tell me If I am correctly using the above tags.

Please help its urgent.

Thanks,
Vinay

your tags are correct. maybe your error.jsp have problem, try with a very simple error.jsp:

<htm>
<body>
Got error!
</body>
</html>
