"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I don't think it is.  MSDE came out with Visual Studio 6.0, which obviously doesn't support WinCE.  .NET may support it, but I doubt it.  We've been playing around some with the Final .Net beta, but I haven't seen any indication that it's supported.

That said the only thing I can tell you for 100% sure is that embedded visual studio doesn't support it.

In the .NET Environment, there is a special compact framework for PDA. There is a special sql Server CE to run on the device that you can use. U can sync with SQL Server 2000 so it might be possible with MSDE, but i'm not sure.
