Hi,

I'm learning Russian!! and I have Windows 2000 Pro and Office 2000 Pro. I want to be able to type in Russian (Cyrillic) but I only appear to be able to use the usual alphabet! can anyone tell me how to enable my system to be able to type in Russian (Cyrillic) please. Many thanks

Nick

P.S. I have Russian language installed and it's on the task bar so I can switch between the two!!

Go to Start -> Settings -> Control panel and click on the Regional Options icon.
In the Language settings for the system box select Cyrillic. you would then be able to use the cyrillic alphabet as well as the latin.
The default way to switch between languages is left Alt+Shift.
If you prees that key combination having started Word you should be able to write in cyrillic.

Good Luck.
