How do you get Excel to execute Shell on an executable file that is not .exe, .bat, .com, or .pif extention? Furthermore, how do you get it it execute in a unix environment instead of dos? What I would like to do is have excel kick off a perl script when a command is clicked. Is this possible?
Thanks
