SQL error 25580 in Informix

When running SQL we sometimes get the error 25580 (system error occurred in the network function) and then error -349 (database not selected yet). Then we have to choose the database again. We are running HPUX 11.11 and Informix - SQL 7.31.FC1 on a 64-bit machine. This seems to happen more frequently during heavy use. Does anyone have any idea why this happens and what can be done to prevent it?

Thanks

Hi,

Informix has a known bug in the 7.31 versions (UC and FC) relating to this issue. There are no other possibility, but to upgrade to FD2 version.

Please contact your Informix support and refer to the bug 114935
