Have been given a refurbished set of 5 Dell computers to get on outr small office LAN have set up 4 no problem all on Windows 98 but on exactly the same configured machine one boots up then tells me its MAC address and then goes on  TO SAY DHCP.................... and wont boot(freezes)if I remove the cable connection  though and boot, it boots fine into windows and then I replace the cable and I am connected on my LAN and have full internet access. What is my problem? Many thanks for any help.
p.s. sorry if the answer is simple, I am not technically minded but have been entrusted with this task.

You have to change the boot order in BIOS. Disable the Network boot or try to set the network boot to last priority ....

Hope it helps
