SQL Server 2K SP3 Install Error

My OS is MS XP SP1.  I have MS SQL Server 2000 Personal Edition.  I am trying to install SP3 for SQL Server 2K.  I get two errors:

When I run set up for SQLKASP3.EXE (Analysis Services Components)  I get the error message

“An error occurred during the move data process: -145”

When I run set up for SQL2KDESKSP3.EXE (Desktop Engine (MSDE)) I get the error message
“The instance name specified is invalid”

The set up for SQLKSP3.EXE (Database Components) installed properly.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how to find out what is causing either of these issues?  I have reinstalled MS SQL Server 2K and then tried updating.  I have almost a GB of space left on my C drive.

You really don't need the 2 others SP, except you have the Analysis Server installed or the desktop engine. By default, Analysis Server is not installed, neither the Desktop.
