logitech quickcam express through linksys router

Can anyone help me get my logitech quickcam express to work through my linksys befsr81 router?

I am assuming you are talking about through a program like msn messenger or CuCmee... One easy way is to set your computer as the dmz by putting your ip address in under the dmz option(I believe it is under advanced). This will unlock you from the firewall, which could open you up to hacks. The second route is if the router supports Universal plug and play (which MSN messenger uses), go to Microsofts website to open the individual ports needed to have the video enabled. If it is any other program you will need to go to their site and see which ports need to be opened so the cam will work. Hope this helps.
