asked on

problem with msgsrv.dll

Occasionally, and randomly, my windows 98 computer with 64 ram freezes. I press ctrl+alt+del and nothing happens. Sometimes it will unfreeze a few minutes later and allow me to view the task manager, which tells me msgsrv.dll is not responding. I read into it on miscrosoft.com and they said there is no way to fix it because advanced power configuration is on. Is there a way to fix it?

Two options :

- Before noon, you can do it anyday by crossing your fingers

- After lunch, you can do it fullmoon day by dancing naked in the street

Although I may be wrong and you are simply not in the good section of the experts-exchange web site.
