Just re-installed XP+Office XP onto my box...fully up to date with all patches+Service packs.
I can ping the ip of the exchange server
I can ping the name of the server
I have access to all shares on the server
BUT when i try to access my (or anyone elses)exchange account it gives me the error:
"The action could not be completed, The name could not be matched to a name in the address list".
My mail account can be accessed from a non XP box.

Re-installed 2 times(!) still get the same error
I currently have outlook set up to use POP3/SMTP and pointing it at the server - mail then works fine but i am missing certain exchange features.

Help !
