Create simple gaussian signal in Mathlab

Hi ,
I need to create a gaussian signal in matlab.
I will use this gaussian signal to test different distributions on it. Does anybody know how to create a gaussian signal in matlab or where i can find how to do it.

Dear Irish Girl

If I'm right that you means guassin probablity distribution function where was wrote 'guassian signal', you can find a lot of these function in statistic toolbox. for example your required functions is 'normpdf'.
