Hi All:

I am using Oracle9i Developer Suite / Forms Builder to create forms against a 9i Database, I am running a Win 2000 machine.

I successfully created a Student form by using Data block wizard based on a Student table in the database. Now I am trying to add a LOV button on the Student form. The first step is to edit LOV, what I did was:

[1] right click LOV in Object Navigator, open LOV Wizard.

[2] in the SQL Query Statement window, I wrote:

select major into : STUDENT.major from major_list

among these: STUDENT is my datablock name, major_list is a table.

[3] I compiled without error.

[4]When I clicked Finish button on LOV Wizard, I got error:

FRM-10095; Assertion failed in iewvqri_check_syntax, at E:\f021w32\src\ie\jewvqr.c:763

Please help!

I think that
2] would look like this:

select major from major_list

There is no need to use   into : STUDENT.major   there.
