I've been very fustrated with this one.
Is it possible to use introsepection(<jsp:setProperty name="beanName" property="*"/>) when the calling form is enctype="multipart/form-data"?

When I try it, all my values come back as null. I need to use this enctype as my form making use of jspsmartupload to upload a file.

Thanks for your help!

no! it's not the problem or introspection, enctype="multipart/form-data" is not natively supported by servlet/jsp. when you use this enctype, you cannot even use request.getParameter().

I believe the reason you use enctype="multipart/form-data" is because you want to upload file. try to use jspSmartUpload ( www.jspsmart.com ) or Struts ( http://jakarta.apache.org/struts )
