asked on
location area code and cell id interpretation
Hey, I can get these two peices of information by first using:
"AT+CREG=2"
and then:
"AT+CREG?"
My question is really what do they mean? Obviously they're both unique to the area/cell, but surely the cell is the area? Also are these just randomly assigned tags from the phone company or is there some rhyme and reason to them.
Cheers,
Cian
