Run FDISK
Create a primary dos partition.
(Create DOS partition or DOS logical drive (1) ->

If you have the 95 boot disk, put it it and restart the computer. When computer boots up you'll get an A:> prompt, type FDISK This utility will help you partition your harddrive, it'll have 4 options:

1.CreateDOS partition or logical drive
2.Set active partition
3.Delete partition
4.Display partition information
Select option 4 to view the partition information, you can get back to the previous screen by clicking the ESC key.
Delete the partiton if there are any and click ESC, choose option 1 to create the new DOS partition and I think you will get prompted if you want to make the partition of the maximum space available. Here it's up to you how big of a size to make the partition. You'll have to mark this DOS partition active by selecting option 2.
You'll get prompted to FORMAT the drive after you are done partitioning, if not reboot the computer with the 95 boot disk stil in the floppy drive and when you get to the A:> prompt type FORMAT C:
I haven't done it in a while, ha dto look it up, but i hope this helps.

After preforming an FDisk on a disk drive, and go to access the drive, it should give you an error message to the effect of invalid media.
Do a DOS format of the Drive and you should have it available.
