Hi!

I'm searching for a program which will administer my tpc / ip connection! E. g. I want to login in by ssh while theres a ftp connection, then i should be able to set the ssh connection priority that high, so i can do something, although theres a ftp download... Hope you got the idea, any suggestions for programs are cheerfully appreciated!

Greetings

Chriso

You want to prioritize your traffic.  There are several ways of doing it, the most popular is to use a combination of iptables and the 'tc' and 'ip' commands.  Look for CBQ scripts on the internet, or, your distribution may come with a traffic shaper configuration tool or example scripts.
