I have one station out of what seems like a million at a high school that is saving nal.tmp files out on the desktop. How do I prevent this from happening?  We currently run Fortres Grand and the nal.exe file is a priviliged application.  I have not seen this before and can't seem to find anything on Novell's web site.

I've not seen this behavior, but would offer that if you built your other 'million' PC's from an image, why would you bother troubleshooting bizzare behavior of one stray system?

If it has taken you 30 minutes to look into this, it's 15 minutes too long.  Dig out the re-imaging CD (or use PXE if you're really cool) and forget about it.

Check if you have set a valid temp dir, and if both %TMP% and %TEMP% environment variables are pointing to this dir.
