changing the default frontpage error message

I have a search page connected to an access db which requires the user to choose from a drop down box. If there is no choice made frontpage throws up a message box telling the user to choose. Can this default message box be replaced with my own msgbox?

Once your site is saved it is located within one of the files...
I do not know how you site is so I cannot tell you what file it is in but open them up in Frontpage click the HTML mode and use the search tool Edit-->Find type in a part of the error message and hit find.
If nothing is found try another file until you find the correct file.

Why not take a different approach and create an all values option for your drop down. This way, if they don't choose, it will simply display all the data.
