carchitect,
I also notice that you have a couple of opened questions that are older than a month that need your attention.  If you need help on how to find these, let me know.  Thanks.

All this talk of upping the points does nothing for me when you've been asked to maintain your open questions and I spent the time to post in them so you will have email notifications, then you tell me you will respond in them, but haven't.  Let me know when you have actually responded in your open questions and I will get right on continuing to assist.  I mean if you won't maintain or assign points in your other questions, you could bump this all the way to 500 and abandon it too.  Remember, we are donating our time to assit you.  To see all your open questions, simply click on your login name link at the top left of the site and go from there.

hi
let me tell you one thing.. what do you think, you are the only person who is here to assist or help, sorry you are wrong buddy....
i came not only for getting answer to my questions but definitely to help others too, if i hae done something, i would always like to sahre it not hide it, now regarding me i am working so don't get much time to check mails so regularly, i don't know much about you.. how do you get so much time, but i always like to help.
now regarding my other open questions, do you really think i should give points to questions for anwers which i don't think suitable to me....
you may have answered to them i checked your profile earlier and checked your answers too here, but do you really think answer for this question is suitable,  ...think man and be big , just having some points in your pocket doesn't make you so big......

carchitect,
I have never advocated awarding points when a solution is not present.  I've not been about the points, but about helping answer question and helping people use the site properly.  In fact, I have turned down a great many points.  I am about the site.  I love the site and I don't like to see it abused.

I am happy to instruct on your available options regarding questions you have no answer to.   A few choices are available.  However, as a question asker, you should make certain you are always the last person to respond in your own questions.  With that in mind, a question is considered abandoned after 1 month of inactivity.  When you fail to manage your own questions, cleanup volunteers such as myself must take more time to volunteer to clean up after people who abandon their questions.

With that in mind, here are the open questions which need your attention.

You have not provided feedback in these questions in quite some time and experts have responded since your last response:

Feel free to ask questions on how to manage the open question, but if I don't see a significant change in your open questions, I will have no recourse but to ask a moderator to step in.

Once again, I am very happy to assist you with finalizing these questions.

hi
thx for reminding me about my questions, as i just wrote, i was very busy with my work and never knew that i must be last tp update my question. i will keep this in mind....
now one thing, i must tell you....and you will like to listen it...this site is my dream site... i like this site as much as i love computers, i can't devote much time but yes.....this is something which was missing in my computer life you can see my profile i just joined and never knew that there is a good site available...
Bue i will definitely work out on my old as well as new questions...there is one problem with the site... experts here try to answer each and every question without giving it a try..may be on their own experience....
ok
then ppl like us accept their answers and after some time realize that answer was no complete.....
then they ask same question again... i have e.g. for that

anyways thx again and i will try and answer my asked questions.....
regards

carchitect,
I share your enthusiasm of this site.

I agree that some experts do not try their solutions.  Sometimes for only the reason that they cannot duplicate the questioner's environment, other times because they do not have all the information the questioner should have provided. As you can imagine a forum like this has excellent people and unscrupulous people and all shades in between.

I have seen that you have begun cleaning up your old questions and it makes me happy we won't have to get a moderator involved.

There is now so much "trash" on this thread that it probably won't get looked at much by other experts.  I can have a moderator come in and refund the points for you on this question so you can re-ask it again if you'd like.  Or you can request the refund yourself at the Community Support link on the left of the page.  Make sure you give them this question's URL so they know which question to work.

Make sure that before you do that if you want any of the information I have provided to you, you copy it somewhere as the moderator may delete the question and then you cannot get to the information.

If you re-ask the question, let me know where it is if you'd still like me to assist you.

Have a great day!

Moderators...if a request is made for a refund on this question, no need to wait the standard 72 hour period as I am the only one to have responded and I am happy to allow a refund.
