16-bit apps calling 32-bit apps

is it possible to call a 32-bit application froma 16-bit application? and if it is possible how?

please help.

Just give it the path and the file name eg

c:\msoffice\winword.exe

how about, instantiating 32-bit DLL in 16-bit application?
Is there any problem referencing 32-bit DLLs?

Its doable.

Here's an article talking about Pascal.

You'll need a helper dll to call the 32 bit dll.

I guess it's called "thunking"...
I've found a Topic "Thunk Compiler" in MS PSDK. It might help.
