Getting Error Message when trying to Send Link by Email from IE6
Windows 2000 system, SP3, with Novell Client 4.83Sp1, IE6 with Sp1. Uses Groupwise 6.
When I tried the send the Link by email feature in IE, I received the following error message: "The MAPI Spooler could not be started. Cloase and then restart all mail-enabled applications. MAPI 1.0 [000004C7] "
Groupwise is selected as the default mail program in IE Options. GW works fine on its own. What could be the problem?
Thanks.

The Novell TID applied to GW5.5. I have GW6.0 sp1.
I did some more research on Microsoft site, then installed the Windows Messaging System. Well, that fixed the MAPI error message; however, the IE6 would crash as soon as the email is created after using the send link by e-email feature. Werid. Now it looks like the symptom described in that Novell TID. I can work around with cut and paste. Just curious about why it doesn't work.

At this point, it appears to be a groupwise, novell issue. Just send and email, cutting and pasting the link into the body.
