publish settings

i am using flash mx. when i publish the movie it seems as though the publish settings are not taking effect. i change the settings but there is no change in the look of my html file (although the attributes of the embed and object tags are definatly changed).
all i want is the widow to be the size of the flash movie which i can do using javascript but my swf file is not aligned to the top and left so theres a strip of grey....
heres a link so you can see what im talking about :)

take out this line of code in poodlefaker.html
<!--.comnewsabout<P ALIGN="LEFT"</P><eventsmusic--->
and I think you'll find that'll fix it.

duh! i just got it...i just had to set the left margin and top margin attributes in the body tag. silly me. why arent they set to zero by default?!...still dont know why the publish settings arnt taking effect in my flash mx...

well I generated an html page out of MX and the code was identical to yours..other than the line I mentioned above..
it must be the small browser window you're putting it the default setting is to center the swf and as  you're using a smaller window it's probably confusing the browser which is doing it's best to center it.
you could probably also fix it by using percent instead of default for dimensions.
try it with a full window just to see if it aligns correctly with the defult setting.
glad you got it working anyway.. the best answers are your own:)
