How do I get a stringgrid to reflect its correct colors when it is printed?

Stringgrids have caused me no end of trouble. I have a stringgrid whose contents exceeds the window in which it is displayed. You move around it with a mouse. When it prints (with colors), it will not print correctly unless you scroll through the entire stringgrid. Then it prints no problem. Does anyone have any idea what in the world causes this strange problem? This is a delphi problem.

Thank you so much
