Hello
I'm an AS/400 system administrator
I want to let our programmers to use the Interactive SQL on the production AS/400 but I want that the only thing thay will be able to do it to select from a file and not to change the data in the files by insert, delete or update by SQL command.

Thanks

Set the object authority of the objects to READ (for object and data).
If they are alowed to make changes with programs, you have to set the program to an other userprofile to *OWNER and change the object owner to a profile (or groupprofile) that hve the required authority.
