Hi ,
I have a problem with Lotus 123. I need something(I guess a Macro) which can automatically do some stuff for me.
Get the top 5 customers/region.. sorted by revenue from a sheet. How to do this I am not a programmer and therefore dont have a clue. Is there maybe also a website with already written macros?
The other question.Is there a macro counting fields(in percentage)when the only recognition of this fields is the colour red(colour)?
Thank you very much in advance
Cheers

I'll do my best but the information you have given is a bit sketchy.

To sort a set of data in Lotus123:

* highlight the total data set - that is the whole area containing the data. So if it covers the area A1 to F12 then that is the area to highlight.
* go to range/sort/selectthecolumns you want it sorted by and whether each is ascending or descending, press OK and its done.

To count cells of a given colour add a column (say B)next to the column with the coloured cells (say A) and add this formula and copy down to each line in the new column B:

@if(@cell("backgroundcolor",A1)=113,1,"")

At the bottom of column B put this formula:

@sum(B1:B12)/@count(A1:A12)*100

This will calculate the percentage of all the cells which have the backgound colour 113 (which is one of the reds).

Note: the spelling of backgroundcolor is correct ie without the u! It's a NA thing!

Hope that helps
