I have a user running Lotus Notes R5 on his laptop with a Lotus R5.09 server on the backend.  He'd like to be able to replicate his mail file while travelling but skip the attachments.  (Ex. I send an e-mail with an attachment, he wants the email but not the attachment.)

Is there an wasy way to do this?

There is an option to do this on the replicator page.  If you go to the replicator page and click the blue arrow you will see an option to 'receive documents from server'.  Underneath this option you will see a drop down where you can limit the size of the emails and thus not replicate the attachment.

Also, if the user does not use his replicator page but instead uses the drop-down arrow on the database icon to replicate; they can click replicate with options and again the same option will be available to receive only summary information.

Hope this helps,
