Since I upgraded my computer to a 1 G and 512 ram I can't read my print out correctly.  I get scrambled lines of numbers and letters thru my document.  I installed drivers, checked cables etc...
I'm pretty sure one of you know the answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (Hope to get an answer)

Thanks

Which operating system are you using? Go into the BIOS and
select the Integrated Periferals menu. Set the Printer mode to EPP only. DO not use ECP/EPP or ECP modes.

If this doesn't work you may need to uninstall the Printer
then reinstall. This has a 50-50 chance of working. HP printers leave a lot of files when uninstalled. One of these may be corrupted.

If none of the above works let us know.

I'm using Windows 98.  I have already uninstall the printer and installed the printer about 4 times.  I didn't go in the BIOS.  I'll try that and will let you know on Monday.  Thanks for the info.

Your suggestion of "Go into the BIOS and

My problem is solved.  I want to THANK YOU for the information, it was greatly appreciated.

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

The answer was excellent for me, because I was at the brink of buying a new printer.  This fixed my problem right away.  Great job!!  Thanks
